MARCH MADNESS begins...

Quick update before the games begin today. I'm a big fan of the tournament and intend to role-model that for my son :) Games are less than an hour away! Will have the t.v. and computer on to monitor. What's happening with the cd's...? They're in the 'packaging' stage presently, after which they will be shipped out and also available online (more info on that to come). Major breakthrough yesterday after months of frustration.... i was able to change the MySpace layout. check it out - let me know what you think! (I'm back after a brief interuption) It's game time... let's go MARCHING!

MySpace...

The latest on MySpace efforts... I figured out how to upload songs onto my-space (thanks J.J.). Please visit me at http://www.myspace.com/daricpaul and have a listen to parts of the first three songs on the disk. Now I'm working on sprucing up the page itself... anyone know how to do this?

The material has been approved and is currently under production! Estimated completion date of 3/19/09 ... soon we'll see it for real...

Album art work is completed! Sending materials off for cd replication today. All goes well we should have music cd's wrapped and ready for distribution before the Final Four. Let March Madness begin :))

Ready, Set, Go!

Hey! Or, maybe I should begin with Hi or Hello... Anyways, welcome to my blog where it's all about the music - most the time. Any follower will soon learn that I'm somewhat tangential jumping from one topic to the next. I mentioned Hi and Hello because I'm now working on being a good role model for our son who is at the stage of soaking up everything and regurgitating at the most inopportune times :) Back to The Music ~ I'm about to release a first CD titled 'It's You I Wanna Be Near'. Exciting and nerve racking at the same time. I'm giving it a go as I put my first career of 12years on hold at the moment (that is until we're not able to pay the monthly bills). New to the Blogging, Myspace, Facebook experience... not sure what else to say about that, but will do my best to keep it informative and entertaining at the same time. Like the music, this blogging will be 1/4 as much fun without your participation. So, please interact!! I know people have started to watch their spending during this recession (and I think most have come to terms with the label 'recession' try as they may to rephrase it), but this blogging thing is free, well semi-free not counting the Internet connection you're paying for... you could always go sit in a Starbucks parking lot and surf of the wireless network (but that would cost gas to Starbucks and there's always the chance your Starbucks is closing...)

The CD should be ready less than a month! (Those closest may LOL here) I've been saying that for 6 months though. In the meantime, I will be working on learning about this high-tech stuff of Blogging, Myspace(ing), and Facebook! Look forward to hearing from you - be well!
